Done my Black Thursday shopping, got myself a Gustard H26 Class A Headphone amp. If I do the maths, I saved £300ish - it's a whoopee!



It has the exact connectivity as my outgoing SingXer SA-1, this allows me to output the balanced XLR's to the Adam active speakers, when operating as a preamp.
It has additional input (both XLR and RCA), which is useful if I want to add another input source other than a DAC.

I don't really know any of the WHF team - I spoke one of them once at the Bristol Show about 20 years ago, so I've never met or spoken to anyone who currently works there.

But you're right, I don't like WHF. That's for many reasons that you wouldn't understand.

I think PT is selling R13 for about £279, I suspect prices will come down further.
Check with PT if they have any open box R13s. 😊
