bitrate problem with pioneer bdp lx71

hi can anyone at what hifi help me. when im playing bluray films the bitrate for the audio on dts master audio is displaying 1.5 kbps which should be more. when i play dolby true hd or pcm soundtracks its displaying around 4.6 kbps. everything is connected up right with the hdmi but whats wrong with the dts master audio. can anyone help please.

As you'll see from our review of the Pioneer, it doesn't decode DTS Master HD on board - what it's doing is decoding the 'core' DTS track (1.5Mbit). There is a firmware upgrade due, or you can get your receiver to do the decoding.

yes my receiver is doing the decoding as it is on the the true hd and the pcm. but on the pioneer bitrate display its showing 1.5 kbps for dts master and 4.6 for true hd and pcm is that right

Same problem here... my amp is decoding DTS Master Audio but the BD Player is displaying the wrong bit rate?ÿ
