bit of stupid question

how would you wire up bi-wirable speakers in a standard way? would you connect a positive to low and negative to high frequency? sorry if this seems pretty stupid, but never had to consider it before!

Assuming the single wire jumper bars/links are in place between the two sets of terminals, it shouldn't make any difference whether you use the upper or lower set, although I have found some speakers sound subtly different depending which pair of terminals you use.

also, any difference between chord carnival classic or silvercreen? places seem to stock one or the other so wondered if actually just same cable.

Yes, SilverScreen has extra foil shielding not found on the Classic.

And may I also add the silverscreen is nearly twice as thick!

A consideration if you are trying to hide the cable runs.
