BI WIRE SPEAKER

Depends on who you talk to: opinions and experiences differ. The best you can do is borrow the necessary cable and try it for yourself. If you read previous forum posts here you will see the debate rages on.

I have to admit to having experienced both sides of the debate, so can only say that it would seem to me that it is dependent on the system and circumstances. Sometimes it helps, others it doesn't. My current system is not bi-wired, but I have tried it in the past and it did alter the sound for the better on one set-up, but not another.

As I say, try it for yourself if at all possible.

lussen:bi wiring speaker is this make any improvement for music or movie

Its dependant on the speakers used as the crossovers are what make the difference

Generally speaking it will sound 'different' but there will be a gap where the crossover is (Which usually means voices lose detail etc)

aliEnRIK, don't know what you mean by "there will be a gap where the crossover is" usually bi wiring removes some components from the crossover circuit allowing the natural rolloff of the drivers to take over this usually allows a greater overlap of the frequency of each driver, so rather than a loss of detail their is usually more detail which sometimes works well and other times not so well.

I aggree trying bi-wiring is the way to go, works for me, bi-amping made things even better.

Theres a frequency phase movement where the crossover is. The measurements can be found online. I dont post links anymore

Most people who have tried it have said the same as you. Bi-wiring was good and bi-amping better. A lot of those same people finally realised it never sounded 'right'
