Definitely not good, but glad that at least you haven't lost out on this occasion.

We are extremely sorry for the issues yesterday regarding incorrect payment requests. It was a an error with our systems that was rectified immediately, No incorrect transfers will have been made and we are analysing our operations to prevent this happening again

Apologies, just got back on t'internet and you are correct. The email regarding payment did come from a source that you mention. There is, however, an awkward method of payment for anything bought from snvinyl that obviously caused this upset.

Please note to other forumees my last purchase from snvinyl went well although the payment method could be improved.

Hi, Al, I've ordered several items from Scott/Alex, and had the same payment hiccups, but all orders were delivered fairly quickly, in first class order.
His prices are favourable, too, as a rule, so I will be fine to order again.

Whilst I agree my last purchase showed much better delivery times I have had some right disasters in the past so still not 100% confident, and you need to be these days with the number of web based dealers available.

Their payment method is still the pits though and needs a serious rethink in my humble opinion.

Quite agree, Al, it doesn't inspire confidence, but that comes with repeat orders, and if you're not confident during your initial purchase, there'll be no repeat orders, but I'm reasonably happy, so far. Each to his own. But, with HiFi, whether hardware or vinyl prices being what they are, I for one can't afford to lose money.
