Hi,

(At last a manly subject to discuss - my wife won't go near 'our' home cinema kit)

There are many cleaning solutions available - I use an IXOS one which does the job well with no streaks etc.

As for speakers (and all my kit) I use the soft brush which came with the Dyson (other vacuums are available) and thats enough to just lift any settled dust from most awkward places and then it's just sucked away. The brush has a name which I can't remember and the wifes still asleep (ouch that's gonna hurt when she reads this !) but she does the curtains with the same brush (although I bought a second one which is just for me and my shiny toys)

Hope this is of use,

Regards Si

I don't trust cleaning sprays as I used one on an old pc monitor a few years ago and it removed some of the anti reflective coating on the screen.

I use a slightly damp micro fibre cloth for cleaning my 42"plasma, which works wonders. Removing the dust is really easy, just buy your self one of those Pledge fluffy dusters, really soft so won't damage speakers etc and sucks up fine dust like a magnet. I think I paid about £2 for mine and that came with a spare duster, from tescos btw. Works a treat on all that shiny plastic on my tv as well, a quick wipe and it's spotless.

microfibre on the screen, dry first, and then a second round with it slightly damp from distilled (boiled and cooled) water.

I use window-cleaner spray on the surround to the telly.

For speakers, just a simple duster.
