What would people advise as to the best wall mountable centre speaker on the market for around the £300 mark?

I currently have a shortlist of the B&W HTM62 or the Monitor Audio Silver RS-LCR centre speakers.

I am not sure if the two above are too deep to wall mount? I don't want them to look too bulky (silly) but also don't want to go for the slim, but poor sound quality of some centre speakers.

I will be wall mounting the centre speaker choice below my 50" wall mounted plasma tv.

My left & right speakers are Acoustic Energy floorstanders, and rear speakers Mission floor standers. I will also be adding a subwoofer to the set up shortly.

Help and recommendations much appreciated

Hi hazza26

Keep an eye on my post here. I'm in the process of wall mounting my HTM62 using what is actually a bracket designed to wall mount a turntable. My thoughts are, if it's providing enough isolation for a turntable, then it should be great for a centre speaker too! I'm in the process of putting it up (once I have a drill bit which is the correct size), and will then let everyone know my thoughts.

Oh - I was so caught up in my own wall mounting issues to miss the fact you said you had AE speakers as your fronts. You really want to try and get a matching AE centre speaker in that case, otherwise you may find the balance between them is all over the place. Unless of course you've already demoed them and are happy that the B&W and MA centre will fit nicely between your AEs?
