Hi folks,
New to the forum so please be gentle
I currently have a system consisting of an old 32" panasonic CRT, a Toshiba sd-370e dvd player, Denon 1905 Receiver and an Acoustic Energy Aegis Evo 3 7.1 speaker package (extra Evo 1's for rear surround channels).
I must admit that the audio side of home cinema is the most appealling to me as i often find newer films have action scenes that are very hard to follow they are so quick. (even in the cinema I couldn't keep track of Transformers for example)
To this end I was wondering what route I should take for upgrading my tv, receiver and dvd source to allow use of BluRay and the newer audio formats.
I have a budget of £2K for the screen, receiver, video source and the video cables.
Tv size would be limited to 42" max at the moment.
Many Thanks
Wezz
