What do people think gives them the best value based on performance against the item's cost from their home cinema kit?

From my items listed below, my top 3 would be:

[*]Sony BDP-S350 @ £160 - Unbelievable picture and sound for a relatively small amount.
[*]Logitech Harmony One @ £72 - Ease of use and only one remote on the coffee table!
[*]Pioneer PDP-LX5090 @ £2400 - You can get it way cheaper now, but I still think it's excellent value at the price I paid (incl. install & Pioneer bracket)

I think Logitech's Harmony range are far and away the best universal remotes out there, at least for sensible money. I bought a Harmony One for about £100 a few months ago to replace my Harmony 525. I miss the four coloured buttons that the 525 had for Sky but other than that, it's brilliant. The hard buttons are better and it'sÿrechargeable, which is great. These remotes make a huge difference to a system's usability.

I also have an LX5090, although I paid about £1,750 for mine. With the possible exception of Pioneer's own 500A and M models, it has to be the best 50" TV available at any price. But you can buy a Panasonic plasma that's almost as good for considerably less money, so maybe it doesn't offer the best value. I can't say I'm bothered though.

I recently bought an NR905 for a little over £500 (used). Pig ugly (especially in silver) but terrific movie sound.

The Denon 2500BT looks like great value to me, especially as they can be had for around £600.ÿ
