Best Panasonic?

Well Which is the best Panasonic plasma out of the following three models?

I like most of you will be watching HD image (Sky/Virgin Media) and Blu Ray image on the plasma. Plus a Sony PS3 console, so I am not worried really if it has a Freeview or Freesat receiver built in. Or the sound of it as this will be covered from my A/V amp.

So the image will be HD image, Blu Ray and PS3 so which will be the best?

TH-42PZ80
TH-42PZ85
TH-42PZ800

And If Pioneer made a full HD 42” then I would get one but I don’t want a 50” plasma. But I am thinking 46” over 42” but at this point my short list is for one of these Panasonic models.

PZ800 is the top of the range, with better colour (digital Cinema Colour), better sound (seperate tweeter / woofer system), better blacks (different screen filter), has PIP and plays video from SD card. Whether it is worth the difference, only you can tell. There is no 46PZ8000.

PZ80/85 are similar PQ. PZ80 doesnt have optical sound output, but that wont worry you? Nor IFC, but most people switch it off!

So the best one is the PZ800, but IMHO the best value for money is the PZ80.

Pioneer might do a 42" plasma next year when they start to use the panny panels.

Hello thanks for that I have heard that no 42" Pioneer will be out until next summer (2009) so thats why I am looking at the panasonic models.

I will take your advise and look into the PZ800 over the others.

I will still wnat to see if the PZ85 is any good as I felt it was better than the PZ80/81 models.
