What's Yours

Sort of stuck in west london, my primary system is in storage as are most of my CDs.

Aquired a 'free' AEX and bought a pair of the cheapest active speakers in the country, the Studiospares/Seiwin SN4a. A £25 fiio dac completes the system.

Cost little more than beer money, will make a great desktop system for when I return to my home, but for the moment streams Spotify (mostly) from Mrs DDCs iPad or my macbook and stops me going insane.

Oshin by Diiv playing at the moment. :rockout:

iPhone / iPad, dock out to Tivoli PAL radio. Or just use the PAL in its primary role as an FM radio

Whichever, you have to listen nearfield, but it's lovely - a very midrange focused sound. .

iPod classc with lossless files, Onkyo digital transport, combined headphone amp/DAC (all of which I had already for a headphone setup) feeding a pair of Fostex PM0.4n. Surprising clarity and imaging and when the speakers are placed on stands. I've even been impressed with the amount of bass, although these active monitors are tuned a bit more for home listening applications rather than purely studio use.
