I am after a pioner 428xd, i have been told that it is better than the 428oxd?. I have found a pdp428xd T25b on empire direct for £1699 with a 3year guarantee. But i just wondered if anyone knew of any better deals and also what the T25 is on the empire model. I would appreciate any help on this. and Merry Christmas.

If you ask, you can get the 428xd for less than that at many 'bricks and mortar' shops. E.g. we bought ours from the local branch of a very well known and reputable hifi chain for £1619, with Pioneer 5 year warranty. I believe Pioneer are offering a free 5 year warranty if you buy before ***31 Dec*** from a 'real' shop (i.e. in person).

You can get it for less (I've seen it for £1470) online - but I think £1600ish is a decent price, and you may as well buy it somewhere where you'll get the 5 yr warranty since its free! Of course you'll still need to cough up for a stand or wall bracket.

It is a great TV. Good luck!
