Best audition experience 2013

About my audition: The System Audio loudspeaker was the new Pandion 2, which was created in an open forum with 110 engineers participating.

I know less than Doc but am also intrigued!

Thanks for the links. Babelfish didn't do a particularly great job with translation! My Arros have a fairly wide field from the tweeters which is appreciated by people sitting off-axis so I applaud that aspect as a design goal. Hopefully, they don't sound like they've been designed by a committee.

Ha, I lived in Leuven for over 10 years; I studied there. We visited Brussels with the kids today, like real tourists! It was fun!

EDIT: just had a look on the site. First impression: man those are expensive! Until I realised Denmark doesn't use the euro...

Not much on the Pandion 2 on the site though... If my Danish is good enough, I understand you can preorder till NYE.

I haven't had many opportunities to audition this year but I can definitely say mine is the Pioneer N-30. Still have it on 'audition' at home and it sounds better than any CD player I've owned. I wasn't convinced by the whole streaming thing until I installed it but I am now.

i enjoyed demoing the kef ls50's with naim xs,leema elements,heed and rega brio-r amplication and hearing the differences amplification makes to the overall sound whilst stepping down in price.
