not sure how much difference in picture quality you will get if you're going via scart but I'd imagine this will be built to a high standard (I at least use their higher teired HDMI cables)

I used to use the QED SQart (I think that was it's name) - big chunky blue RGB cable which gave a good improvement of picture quality over freebie cables. Seem to remember it got 5 stars in WHF back in the day.

EDIT - yup, the one Stavvy has linked is the one I had.

This SCART lead was a What Hi-fi? 5* award winner back in 2005 ...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/QED-Performance-Sqart-Cable-P2110-1M-/111283827103

... it cost £30 back then.

I am not aware of any current 5* SCART leads as HDMI is pretty ubiquitous nowadays and has been for many years.

If you want to look at other sellers then just search on ebay for "QED Performance Sqart Cable P2110". (The 'q' in Sqart is not a mistake.)

(To anybody who wants to make this a platform for a cable argument, no I don't 'believe' in fancy AV cables, but the guy asked for a WHF? 5* SCART cable and I found one. That's it. Shoot someone else.)

Good rider Chebby. I would imagine some cheaper scart cables may be susceptible to poor connectors and interference. Some.scarts were stringy but others as thick as my arm.
