best £300 blu ray player

hi all,not really fussed about all the gadgets on the new machine accept 7.1 analogue outs,and wifi or dongle for firmware updates,for pure picture and audio quality which is the best sub £300 player,the panel is a kuro 428xd and amp is arcam avr350 thats the reason for the 7.1.thanks all, hope you can point me in the right direction

might be worth looking at the Panasonic BDT300.. its got a wifi dongle.. and 7.1 outs..also dual hdmi outs if you ever go down the 3d road.. you can use an older amp with it and 1.4 hdmi tv.. it should come in at well under the 300 mark.. i got mine in a package with my tv.. but i think i've seen them online at around 220 pounds.. the picture quality from blu-ray is excellent (pretty much consistent across all blu-ray machines to be honest) load time is not the quickest but i found after a few firmware updates speed has definitely improved. its decent at upscaling.. maybe not as good as the ps3.. but hard to tell the difference on my 42" screen..

The Samsung c6900 might be worth a go. Looking at it myself. Not the greatest reviews in WHF, but elsewhere has had some good ones.

thanks guys,was looking at both of them as it goes,which is better visually and for audio,noticed that panasonic are offering 6 blu ray discs with most of there player as well.

i`ve just found a pioneer lx52 for £249 on net,what will that sound like optical through the avr350.decisions-decisions

don`t understand why the pioneer in that £500-£600 original price bracket would not have these two features.gutted
