Hi,

New to this forum, I was looking into getting back into listening to CDs. I am thinking of buying new speakers and a cd player for them, but however I still want to listen to my digital music through my MacBook on the same speakers, alternating between the two when I want to change.

My question is: What would the best way to go about this? I have been looking at the products below:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002WJAQY2/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&seller=

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Denon-RCD-M39DAB-Component-Receiver-System/dp/B008JCIKXA/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

I'm new to this stuff so bear with me! Also my budget isn't that big so anything around the prices on those products will do!

Thanks!

You could also add an Airport Express to the budget if you can afford it and have a wireless streaming solution as well. It would give you the freedom to not have the Mac tethered by a wire to the receiver.

I have something similar in my kitchen.
