Question Beginner Amplifier Help

Hey,

Have had a mixed hand me down vinyl setup for a while but have been extremely lucky to be given a few bits. I currently have a Technics SL-1200MkII with a Sumiko Rainier cartridge. I also picked up some Bowers & Wilkins P5 floor standing speakers for a great price.

I was hoping on some advice or suggestions for an amplifier that isn't super expensive. I have been offered a second hand Technics SU-G30 but unsure as to how suitable it'll be.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks

I like Technics; have a vintage turntable and cassette deck. So, I'd jump on that SU-G30 if well maintained. Personally, I'd expect an included remote control, and ideally a user manual, but you can judge if it may be steal regardless.

The Technics is a great amp. If the price is right snatch their hand off.
