Another Lunar New Year has begun. I used to send Ken a greeting to mark the day.

His passing has changed for me the importance of new music, for I too will one day be absent to all new music.

If not now, when (will I revisit what's already in my library)?

I didn’t particularly mark KI’s birthday online this year because I was focusing on recovering from my elbow injury. And today I was re-watching, probably, the last filmed demonstration (in 4K) he gave.

Well, the question of how to spend my time.

I’ll optimistically say, post-surgery, my left arm is functioning around 90% what it was before being injured. I should keep diligently working at improving its strength and range-of-movement…
