More angst!!

Given that WHF assessed the Cambridge 650BD as not quite having the same PQ as the Sony 760, I have read into that that the SQ is as good if not better due to the formats that can be played, non attracting negative comment.

I don't need a multi format player but am looking for the best SQ at a price point (say £400.00), this will be delivered to my amp via LPCM.

Are my thoughts correct, the Cambridge offers better SQ but not quite the PQ of the Sony 760?

What I am trying to establish is..............is there an improved SQ (as in "better") from the Cambridge 650D compared with the Sony 760 on Blu Ray playback..................all other sound formats aside?

Sorry, but as I said I haven't done that direct comparison. All I can tell you is that in my home system - Onkyo TX-SR875/MF Superchargers/PMCs - the Cambridge is the best player I have heard to date.
