Bass traps?

Hi all, I would like to do some furtive room treatment in 'my' listening room and I'm thinking of some free standing bass traps behind my speakers. What do you think of these?

Expensive, was my first reaction - not that I've done any price comparisons.

The look like they are too small to make much difference. Looking online at what people install in rooms they seem to be about 4x bigger than those. FWIW get a couple of duvets and loosely roll them up and shove then in the corner. You'll get an idea if they make a difference.
