Well, they're clearly designed more for use with iPods/iPhones/MP3 players rather than conventional hi-fi systems. There's a review in the May 2010 issue of the magazine, on sale now.
Their sonic balance is best suited to the iPhone/iPods and they're beautifully made. You'll get better performance from some in-ear models from the likes of Klipsch, but the P5s are very comfortable to wear and should last for years.
Are they worth the money? Up to you really, but if you plan to use them a lot they're certainly worth considering.
