After much auditioning, I bought a pair of B&W 805s speakers. What Hi-Fi recommended pairing these speakers with a Primare Integrated Amp and CD Player. Two stores in Sydney sell Primare but neither keep them in stock. Both would order from the distributor but neither would bring them in to their stores for auditioning purposes. I chose not to buy without auditioning. On the advice of the dealer who sold me the speakers, I bought a Musical Fidelity 3.5 Integrated Amp and matching CD Player even though I could not find reviews of these in What Hi-Fi. Do the experts here consider the Musical Fidelity gear to be a good match for the B&Ws? I listen to classical music and some jazz. Thanks for responding.

As a guy who has owned many Musical fidelity products in the past (and 805s too, but not at the same time) the answer is YES! The 3.5 amp is a stormer, treble preformance is top draw when compare to the older A3.2 or newer A5 which is the only (tiny problem, very tiny) I found with 805S. I never own the CD player but if they anything like the ones I have owned (nu-vista, X-ray V3 and A308CR) then you should be smling for a long time.....ENJOY

Thanks for that reassurance Thaiman. They certainly sounded good to me when I auditioned them, but being fairly new to Hi-Fi, I am pleased to hear an experts opinion.
