Hi all

Like your opinions on the following speakers my particular concern is which one will work best at low volumes and which ones are not fussy on positioning to give a good sound stage

B&W 685

KEF IQ30

Monitor Audio BR2

I will be using a marantz SA7001 and possibly a rotel RA05 have a demo booked for this weekend.

Thanks

They all give good soundstages but it also depends on what separates theyre paired with!

The B&W 685s work their best at loud volumes; they need to be driven well to get the best out of them but overall they are superb speakers and would be my choice.

The M/A BR2's are superb speakers and for their price; they kick well above that. They'd be the least fussiest for positioning but with all of the speakers theyre best away from side/rear walls and on solid stands.

The KEF's IMO are ok but im not a huge fan of the 'Kef' sound nor do i like their driver arrangements.
