Just bought the nad c355bee amp and now looking at a new pair of speaker to suite..Is bw685 a good choice ? ( not keen on overlely bright speakers)The whf review said bw685 not keen with bass heavy amps so does this rule them out ?

The B&W 685's will lap up the NAD's power
The amp isnt bass heavy at all; its a very good, well controlled and sounds superb with B&W speakers.

thanks for the reply..i dream of nautilus too but you really need just as expensive electronics to make them sound their best..managed to find a local shop with bw 600 range and tried both 685 and 683 (684 not in the shop) and yes the nad suites them very well even the floorstanders sounded good, were more spacious and more bass than 685..would still like to try it with say dali ikon 6 or 8 as many on here seam to think they are the best of both worlds.(though i must admit those 685 standmounters do alot of things well)
