B&W 685 - best wife friendly stands

Hi, Could anyone recommend a pair of stands that are a good match for 685's? I have just bought the Marantz 6002 CD and amp and am now looking to set them up with the speakers I have also just bought! Also what speaker cables should I be using? The speakers are going to be installed in the living room so the stands need to be wife friendly in relation to aesthetics! Thanks in advance. D

Possibly the only ones that might come close (but still give a good sound) are the Atacama Aurora 6 stands. Rather than being just solid metal and therefore rather industrial looking, the stands are glass and therefore see through and can be filled to make them look more attractive (which is advisable with the 685s). Of course, it all depends on your wife's tastes - she might like the industrial look...
