Never been able to get to the end of the first one, as like Titanic (Which I also have never managed to get to the end) it is just too boring for me, be interesting to see how it does as the first one was one of the bestselling films of all time.

I just remember the film being everywhere! Everyone was demoing it on TVs in shops and 3D was just coming in too. I hope it’s good.

I thought the original was dull - great to look at but like others I gave up pretty soon into it. I seem to recall that the obsessives who dressed up and queued up to see it over an dover became know as Avatards.

Saw the original in 3D in the cinema and thought it fantastic. Got the DVD and it is such a boring film. I watched it once.

I saw the first one, not sure I'll bother with the rest. It was like having too much saccharin.

Enjoyed the 3D visuals in the cinema, but never watched it at home. Not much of a story to it, and what there is is stolen from various other films that came before.
