I 'm looking for another av rack to either replace my existing one(too small) or adding to it, But not sure whether to go for wood or glass

Do the materials make any difference to Sound Quality do you or anyone else think?

Best to read the reviews, then get onto the maker's website and look at dimensions/spec etc, and see if it's suitable for your needs, in my opinion.......
