AV amp speakers display

Hi. My AV amp is showing all speakers connected, but they aren’t. I’m sure it didn’t used to show it. Anyone know why please?

Hi. My AV amp is showing all speakers connected, but they aren’t. I’m sure it didn’t used to show it. Anyone know why please?

Guess 1) The amp is in a mode that sends audio to all speakers. (This is not dependent on them actually being connected).
The display has previously shown this mode, but it's just that you've never noticed.

Guess 2) The display is showing you that speakers are not connected.
