Good news! This is my price range, so I'm excited to read this. Bookmarked for my mid afternoon coffee break!
EDIT: ahh... no noise cancelling! That's a big no from me, then.
P.S. Something that I would like to see mentioned is what the surfaces of the headphones are made of and/or covered in.
A lot of 'phones are covered in that rubbery coating that gradually wears off and gets tacky over time, as is the case on my Lindy headphones (they were absolutely revolting until I rubbed the coating off with some oil). Since it's so prevalent on all manner of portable devices, I think it's worth including in reviews.
