anyone using an auralic aries mini on here got problems playing files over 30 minutes long

No. It seems a bit expensive for what it is and I don't get the point of inbuilt storage. Apart from the problem you have, what's it like?

It is amazing plays everything very well have tried dsd,flac,aiff and wav files.imo it sound better than the naim unitserve i used to have, it may seem expensive but it ticks all the boxes for me i also stream to it from my synology nas, i use the internal storage for the larger files that i have

Had mine for a few weeks now and I've had no problems that you describe. Mine gets it's feed from an external NAS and, for me, it out scores the Sonos for sound quality so well worth the outlay with a very nice iphone/ipad app 🙂

Had mine for two months now, sonically leaps and bounds beyond Sonos (I can comment I have sonos), great to stream my FLAC from the NAS drive and streaming using ROON from pc and Mac. Using the lightning app on iphone with Tidal is also a great sonic exerience.

That said it is not cheap, but, I am glad I purchased. Quality, ease of use, set up very easy and it just works!

mine is now sorted and running as it should, I love it and think it sounds brilliant using the coax output to my unitiqute ,haven't used anything other than the streaming side of it but i feel that it was a wise investment
