Audyssey room equalizer

Hi. Is this new technology good only for home cinema or is it good for stereo as well? Thanks

It will work for stereo as it checks for all speakers connected then takes measurements. However, as always, home cinema amps are not generally highly regarded for stereo.

Thanks Cooney. Ok. Why is it that only av/receivers have this Audyssey Equalizer built-in? Or is it also found in hi-fi amps? If hi-fi amplifiers don't have Audyssey installed how come it sounds better than av receivers when it comes to music? cheers again
