Audiophile listening clubs ...

My brother's new place (in partnership with Paul). I'd wait until they've had their acoustics sorted - not that most people outside of this forum would notice!

At a recent Classic Album meeting, a pair of Klipsch La Scala speakers (valued at $8,000) were installed in the basement bar of an East London hotel on either side of a Rega P9 turntable at center stage. The audience sat in rapt silence for New Order’s 1983 record “Power, Corruption & Lies,” taking in every detail of the sparkling electro-pop riffs, soaring vocals and bouncy polyrhythmic beats.

Sounds about as appealing as having fingernails pulled out with pliers too me...

I remember you've posted this on avi forum couple of months ago.. does your 9s still sounds better than your brother's 100k system? *crazy*

Well yes, but that's a somewhat sneaky statement, as it's all down to the room. They've still to apply acoustic treatment to the room at Spiritland. When they do, I expect the living voice kit to come into its own.

as I stated when the pevious set of pictures were uploaded here. Would make for an interesting and different evenings entertainment,
