Not as far as I am aware but could be wrong. Don't think it's an Audiolab thing

Should be clear cut.
If you read a user guide pdf and saw no mention of balance, either you missed the mention, or it hasn't got a balance option.

The 6000a has balance control. I assume the 8300 would too.
