For some time I had plans for ext dac, an upgrade to my Marantz CD5001 and Xonar Essence STX from PC. Soon Audiolab 8200CD will be in shop at local distributer here and it is also a dac. ESS is here with a price of other dac only. I am little confused with 8200CD's spdif input. On internet it is stated that Audiolab can receive 192/24 through coax but in manual - 176 only. Can anybody confirm if 8200CD can do 192/24 or not? In that case I wouldn't be able to send 192/24 from my PC, usb is 96/24 only. Amplifier is Marantz PM7001 KI and front's are Monitor Audio RX2.
