Audioengine A5+ (Speakers) Vs B&W P7 (Headphones)

I've been having a bit of a dilemma lately for what speakers, or headphones, to get for my PC and I can't decide. I do most of my music listening (and gaming) on my PC, and so would like to invest in either a nice pair or headphones or a nice pair of speakers. So I'm wondering what your opinion is on the above, which give the best value for money between the Audioengine A5+ or the Bower & Wilkins P7?

I understand it's a little like apple's and oranges, but I can only afford one or the other at this time, so need to ensure that I invest my money wisely.

As a wildcard, I'd also like to throw the Bose QC25 into the mix, as I feel these would be handy for portable usage (such as on the airplane, train etc.), but don't want to sacrifice quality for the sake of portability, if the quality of the QC25 is vaslty inferior compared to the P7s.

Thanks for any suggestions/opinions/advice

Welcome to the forum. On the headphone front you might save a bit of money by buying the AKG N60NC instead of the Bose.

The question regards speakers or headphones I would say speakers if you're into extended listening sessions, although I have new heard those Audioengines.

Headphones will give better sound quality for the money but you can't beat the soundstage and visceral sound from speakers.

The P7s are good headphones, but they're a luxury product and you are paying for the leather and bling.

I'd get some cheaper headphones as well as some reasonable studio monitors and enjoy both.
