I currently have two Pioneer DJ 4 inch (DJ-DM40D) speakers, connected to my LG C4 via 3.5mm, and I'd love to upgrade the audio.
I bought a pair of the Pioneer DJ 5 inches, but one was faulty, and I realised they weren't all the good anyway. They were returned.
So now I'm a bit stuck. My current choice is to go with JBL 305P MKII speakers, but they come in a single pack, so I have no good idea how to best connect two of them via 3.5mm to my TV (LG C4).
Any advice would be great, thanks
PS... Any other setup recommendations would also be greatly welcomed, cheers.

If you're looking for a simple setup with small budget outlay, I suggest you consider a quality sound bar from a reputable brand. These may have an external output to include a subwoofer.

I'm not going to lie, I am mystified by all the audio type stuff. A monitor with ALLM, HDR support, (at least) 120hz, and hdmi 2.1, all makes sense to me, but the audio seems to be a minefield.

I love my current monitors because they are great for music, but are they the right fit for a home theater setup? I was hoping to buy some extra monitors to augment the sound, but have gotten lost in all the jargon.

Maybe I do just need a soundbar... Any opinions on the Sony HT-S40R? Or, Hisense 5125H?

Thanks

I'm thinking in terms of seamless operation, doesn't always have to be HiFi for the enthusiast. This can come later.
Just picking up on your vibe. I think you were alluding to, something simple without complications.
Sound bars are just the thing for that, you can use LG C4 eArc HDMI or optical connect to plug into your sound bar.
Simples Peeps 🙂
The Sony HT-S40R is a good choice, it also allows you to use your phone as a remote.
The Hicense gets 4 stars on Amazon, worth considering.
Check the other alternatives and reviews.

Well, thank you my learned brethren, I really do appreciate your thoughtful response. I feel more confident, now that I have a suggested path forward. I think a Soundbar is what my setup needs right now... More elaborate things, may follow... Cheers... No, but seriously, cheers 😉🙃
