well my ATC SC11s are now here and straight out the box im impressed they weigh twice as much as my B & ws extremelly well crafted and once i ha connected my interconnects i was ready to go.
wired up to my astintrew amp and leema cd (as my b&ws had been for a week) i try them out with some kraftwerk and then some orbital, now i know they need runing in but they are a shed load better than the 685s punchy tight bass snappy treble a real togetherness of clarity, so thanks WHFSAV a great recomendation . if you cant afford these speakers sell your car you will be in heaven

I'm not surprised you're pleased with them. The ATC's use far larger magnets than many other manufacturers (none of these tiny, stupidly powerful ones - proper old school magnets), which really makes you feel like you're getting your moneys worth, but not so good for poor old retailers carrying them in and out of demo rooms

Being sealed cabinets they'll produce a more convincing sound than many ported ones.

is there any other sort?

if you think your 11s are heavy, the mid/bass unit on the 19s weighs more then an entire scm11 weighs.

i don't move mine much...
