Hi ,
I just finished building my Hi-Fi system : B&W 683s2 with NAD c370 and Cambridge Audio DacMagic 100 , and i have something that is not on point : given that i only stream music from tidal with my hifi system , i would like to get rid of windows mix and make my tidal app sound go trough ASIO , because when i stream FLAC music with foobar 2000 and the ASIO plugin , it sounds significantly better that tidal with windous mix sound . I already tried going trough O Deus ASIO Link Pro Tool with Tidal , it works (there's sound on my speakers), and normally i should get ASIO output so, the windows volume controller shouldn't affect the sound level , but when i change volume from windows controller , the volume on my speakers actually change , which makes me think that it's still windows mix and not ASIO .
So , do you have any solutions to stream from Tidal and get ASIO as output , (and free if it's not much to ask , because to get full licence of O Deus it costs like 49$) .
Thanks a lot !
Andrei
