Are the Q Acoustics 3010i still best and more powerful wall/desk speakers in 2025?

Hi,

Years ago, I've configured a Hi-Fi system (proud off) for my studio. The speakers are hanged to the wall, and had to be very compact and provide as lower frequencies as possible. I remember that, after a lot of browsing and reviews, the Q Acoustics 3010i were the best solution for me. They sounds amazing, but I would not mind having more basses...
I see Q Acoustics released the 3010c providing an improved frequency range etc. but I was wondering if there are other new options available now (passive speakers to go with my beloved NAD D3020 V2) that goes below 60 Hz. I see also the 5010 looks a great improvement for instance...

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

If I’ve understood you correctly there seem to be a few options, how they sound with your amp I wouldn’t know.

If you still want wall hanging speakers they actually make speakers for that purpose and designed to works that way

For instance

KEF Q4 META On-Wall Speaker

And

DALI Opticon LCR MK2 Wall Mountable Speaker

Down side is they they tend to come as single units

Again I hope I’ve understood correctly apologies if not but it helps

I have 3010i's in my AV system, they are fantastic. I found them too thin sounding to use as stereo speakers. Bass impact is about more than at what Hz the roll off. Both the cabinet and the driver are too small to pressurise all but the smallest of rooms. It doesn't matter for AV as there are six of them, a centre speaker and A sub. For better Bass, I would look at the 5020.

Thanks a lot! I didn’t even know those models existed. The Dali has 70 Hz, so it seems like it would improve the interior design more than the sound. However, the KEF appears to be an improvement, based on the specs...I’ll investigate further.
I’m just a bit concerned about the direction, especially compared to how the current speakers are positioned. Currently they are angled directly towards me and I’m sitting close to them. If those suggested wall speakers were on the sides of a TV, they might sound better...but I will check and thanks for the suggestions!
BTW I bought these wall brackets for the current speakers...

Thanks for the feedback. My room is 3.09 x 3.23m and the speakers are positioned on the sides of the monitor in the middle of the desk against the wall. Yes, I saved the 5010 but started considering also that higher model...

No problem
Speakers such as these tend to be surround sound based. You could always ad discreet subwoofer some where budget allowing.

Just found some more that may be of interest.

Atc hts7 and acoustic energy also do some with the atc having a fairly low bass response off 44hz.
