I have just purchased the A28 amp & CD37 CD player. I did a deal with my local hi-fi specialist and got the price down to £720 amp (£900) & £1000 CD (£1300), very happy with such a bargin given how very good they are, look great in black as well. The amp even makes my Rega P3/Goldring gx1012 sound so much better. I play through B&W 685's on Atacam Nexus stands, again just brilliant for the money, but I know I can get so much more out and am planning to budget around £1500 for new speakers. Suggestions would be very welcome especially as What Hi-Fi seems to ignore Arcam products. My listenting room is small at about 4m x 4m.

Standmounts, definitely PMC DB1S. It'll blow your socks off. Also, Neat Motive 3. It'll allow you to buy some high quality cables too.

Floorstanders: PMC GB1s, Spendor A5...

Hmmm nice set-up

IMO PMC GB1's or M/A GS20's for floorstanders

B&W CM5's or M/A GS10s for standmounts plus some Partington Broadside stands

You have a similar size room to me and some Arcams so i have to recommend you put the Neat Motive 3 on your list as they are great. With your budget though you can try the Neat Petite SX which are also on my list to try out.

Others i have demo'd and liked with Arcam include PMC DB1i and Proac 1SC

Actually the Neat Elite sounded lovely with an A32/P35 Arcam combo.
