I want to get the Solo mini. I need to get bookshelf speakers that can be used close to the rear wall. My budget for speakers is £350 max. Any suggestions as to which speakers would work well with the Solo Mini and can be used close to a wall. Thanks.

I'd look at the B&W 600 range - not only do Arcam regularly pair their kit with B&W speakers at shows/demos etc, the B&Ws are OK being close to a wall (they even come with integrated wall brackets if needed.)
If you can stretch your budget to afford the B&W 685s (or haggle - sure in this economic climate many dealers would accept £350?), all the better.

I always found the budget B&W stuff a little underwhelming with both my Alpha 7R, and A80 amps. I don't know about the solo, but I would try MA speakers (RS1s?) (which gel really well with Arcam)
I believe the latest incarnation of the Avi Neutrons are under £400 too, and might be worth a listen.
