Arcam Muso speakers - Too good to be true?

Righty,

RRP of Arcam Muso speakers is £420...ish.

Just spotted somewhere selling them for £149 inc VAT (Pair). (Big Retailer).

Would these speakers go well with my Marantz PM6004 amp for general music listening? I am a little confused as to why they are so expensive, yet frequency response is just 70-20,000Hz. :help:

You can do better. Dali speakers work really nicely with Marantz. Give the Zensor 1s and the Lektor 1 and 2 a whirl instead. Alternatively try the Wharfedale Diamond 10.1.

Thanks - why are the Muso Speakers so expensive then (£420) if they are not very good.

Im not trying to use price as a determining quality factor here, but it does seem a little strange...
