Hi all I have just bought a Acram A19 and could do with some advise please. I have a Pro-Ject phono box that I used to run my turn table through my Denon, I was wondering if I should continue to use it with the Acram or the phono built in would be better or the same?? Thanks

If your using a moving magnet cart on your turntable ,it probably won't make much difference which one you use.But the proof is in the listening so go ahead and compare like for like.oh and don't put the phono stage in the phono socket ,use the auxilliary if there is one or one of the other inputs(tuner,cd,dvd).

Most likely MM.

I'd hazard a guess and say that Arcam phono stage will be better than the project. I haven't heard either but Arcam A75+ I used to own had a very decent phono stage.

You're lucky as you already have both. Best advice anyone is going to give you is simply listen to both and find out which one you refer. If tests are inconclusive sell the project and use inbuilt one.
