Arcam drDock

Looking to add an Arcam drDock to connect an ipad to my cyrus 3i amp. Hoping to use this in addition to a Arcan CD192 and stream cd quality files from Qobuz.

has anybody got any experience of the sound quality I could expect, will it come close to Cd?

is the the best option I have a budget of around £250.

I had a drDock and it sounded excellent. Buy with confidence. I sold mine only because I knowingly took a risk with my iPod classic (officially not supported), and it was operationally too slow.

But it's an otherwise superb dock. Listen to it and the price suddenly seems reasonable.
