Arcam A39 price cut

I've noticed that 2 or 3 dealers have cut the price of the Arcam A39 by about £400. Presumably new ones, not ex-demo. Are Arcam about to replace the A39?

Probably best time to but A39 or A49. Look out for discounts and don't worry about hype of new models. if these sound good to you just get them.

Arcam A39 is a lot of amplifier for £400 is that brand new ? Because when the A39 first came out I think it cost £1500 or £1800 can’t remember now but worth buying one at that price .

what was the old price £4000 ? As the Arcam A39 does 10 or 20 Watts in class A

Richer Sounds and a couple of other places have cut the price of the A39 by £400, to £849 - it's priced elsewhere at £1249

I heard the new HD S20 played at Bristol yesterday.

Against my own expectations I was impressed. The speakers used played of course a vital role. I say a bit more when I post my impressions of what I've heard and seen there.
