Apple TV - watching on laptop

Assuming I download a movie / tv show to the Apple TV, and only store it on it, can I then watch the movie on my laptop but without moving the storage from the Apple TV - i.e. just wirelessly stream the data from the Apple TV to my laptop?

Hm, don't know. Will need to check whether you can share an Apple TV library in the same way that you can share an iTunes library on your laptop...

Not seeing any way right now - you can sync the two (ie from Apple TV to PC) but don't think you can watch without syncing...

If I get the time over the weekend (I was too involved with caravan websites last night) I might take a hit for the team and buy a film on the apple TV and see what happens...

On a serious note, considering dumping Sky HD in favour of an Apple TV as only have Sky for a) rugby and b) some of the US shows such as Lost, CSI LV, Dexter, etc which I could just download and watch as required. Would mean having to go to the pub to watch the rugby though!
