Apple TV and Cambridge Dacmagic problem

I have recently bought an Apple TV and Cambridge Dacmagic, connected with an optical cable. When I first set it up it all worked fine and sounded great. However, I have gone back to use it a couple of days later and the Dac is not picking up anything from the Apple TV (the bit rate indicator does not light up) but it works with the CD.

I have checked the optical cable and the light is coming through the cable. Also, the Apple TV is working through the USB connected to the TV, so it appears to be something wrong with the Dacmagic. Does any one have any ideas?

have you tryed input 1 and 2

Yes, I've tried both 1 and 2. The CD player through Co-axal is working in both 1 and 2 but not the optical.

i would give cambridge a call,when the psu problems happend thay were first class in dealing with it.

maybe one of the whs&v guys could give you the details

have you been onto richer sounds yet< thay were pretty good when my onk went pop
