apple music on atv

hay,guy's,just wondering if anyone is in the know,when apple is going to release the apple music app on the apple tv.I'm really wanting to stream apple music to my amp via the atv with a hard wired connection(not airplay)using my phone as the remote.Apple did anounce that they were bringing the music streaming service to the atv,but as yet nothing is showing on the software update menu and i can't find any new info as yet.

i got apple tv you can buy music from apple tv but sure you could air play from it too from an ipad which i have done with tv , films if this is what you mean ?

just been digging and it looks as though the app is only going to be available with the new atv,that doesn't even have an optical or coaxial output to hook up to my dac,no deal then...looks like i'll just have to stay with spotify,which is fine but apple does have a few bands that arn't available on spotify.

I took the 3 month trial and was happt to go back to Spotify wgen it came time to pay up.

I have tried a few services, though not Tidal, and Spotify Connect is way my favourite, both technically amd in terms of it's music selection.
