Im looking to buy this to stream my itunes library to my home cinema reciever, anyone know if its possible to use this to also connect my blu ray player to the net?

In which case, I'm pretty sure you can use it also to connect your Blu-Ray player up to the network. This is certainly listed as a feature, though I've never actually tried it so can't personally guarantee it will work.

It can, but I don't know if it can do both at the same time (ie stream music and provide internet connectivity)......
That sounds ok, wont need both at same time. What cables are best without spending a fortune to link one up to my Onkyo 875?
