I seemed to have a bit more motion judder than normal so wondered if anyone else had.....?

in particular, when they first go to Missisipi and the word scrolls across the screen in big white letters, it juddered really badly.....just wanted to check itsbthe disc on not my tv.....I know the film was originally shot on 'film' and not digitally if that makes a difference....

I am about three quarters of the way through, where is that scene again? I will put it on now and try and find it. I have to say I think it looks amazing so far.

Just tried it on 'normal' picture mode, the letter 'M' bump a tiny bit but then the rest was silky smooth....also, the pictures zooms in a bit when viewing in 'normal', and out a bit when switched to 'thx cinema'......what's that about?

is thx not the best way to watch bluray's?

With ifc on arn't you adding artifactes to the picture, fine to sharpen up a dvd,but you cant sharpen up a 1080p anymore?

For a few hundred $ why not get it calibrated?

You would be getting the best out of the tv for sure then :)

My understanding is that ICF will insert extra frames to help with motion judder....however, the experts seem to say that all processing should be switched off (at least on a good tv)....and they also say something about judder being caused by the frame rate on a bluray and the ability of the tv to show this, hence you can get judder...which I'm Asuming is why there are processing features on tv's.....

So, my question is:

whatsbthe best settings on a GT50 in relation to motion, and, does the fact Django was filmed on 'film' and not 'digital' make any difference?

or maybe this question should be a new post....
